H1N1 Ready Nurse Pool
You are Needed!
If you have been watching the news at all lately, then you are aware that the government and CDC are predicting the H1N1 virus to cause 1.8 million hospitalizations and 90,000 deaths this winter. Some hospitals are anticipating a 20-30% reduction in staff due to flu related absences. The combination of these occurances will certainly compromise patient safety.
In light of the above statistics, several of Trinity’s clients have made SPECIAL REQUESTS for ON CALL STAFF in preparation for any nursing shortages and increased census caused from the seasonal flu and H1N1 outbreak.
Because patient care us is our main goal, we want to do what we can to assist the communities during this time. Trinity Healthcare is now building our READY NURSE POOL to respond to this anticipated crisis.
We are looking for RN’s who will be willing to assist in a variety of ways:
- By giving their availability of per diem shifts, and filling these shifts on a moment’s notice, if necessary.
- By being available to “block book” for 1-4 weeks to cover absences in a facility, if necessary.
- By being willing to travel to other locations for short-term contracts on very short notice.
- By being flexible with shifts and floating in order to cover areas that are truly in crisis.
