Hospitals around the country are preparing for a 20% - 30% reduction in staff on top of increased census since the CDC projects 1.8 million hospitalizations due to H1N1. We have received special requests from clients for on call staff, block booking per diem nurses, or travel staff on short term contracts to be prepared for any staffing emergencies. We have developed a Ready Nurse Pool for these clients. These nurses are ready to go at a moment’s notice to locations throughout the country to assist the communities in need. We have various options available to commit advance staff to you so that you can focus on what you’re in business to do, provide great patient care!

What are your plans for decreased staff and increased census? Some hospitals are going ahead and increasing staff by bringing in several travelers so they have oriented and qualified staff ready. Other clients are reviewing profiles of nurses and preselecting those they will want should they have the need.
