Travel Nurse Assignment Types
Assignments
Assignments average 13 weeks, with some being longer and some shorter. This gives ample time to learn crucial skills from coworkers who have experience in particular medical fields. Once an assignment is completed, the travel nurse is able to choose from a number of other options that will further enhance their ability and knowledge.
Compensation
Benefits of working with Trinity Healthcare include weekly paychecks, $25-45 per hour (depending on skills) and the chance to gain experience and refine a medical specialty. Pay is either delivered by mail, or directly deposited into a specified account, as requested by the employee. Some assignments even include tax-exempt travel pay. Participants in Trinity Healthcare's program have the option of working full time on temporary assignments or part time, depending on their preference. We also offer per diem assignments. Per diem and part-time pay can act as supplementary income while you continue working in a regular full-time position.
Healthcare Can Be Included
Health insurance coverage begins on the first day of your assignment, and includes dental and vision coverage. Life insurance and professional liability insurance are also available. We even can supply you with health insurance for dependents, which can be purchased within the same plan and automatically deducted from your paycheck.
Housing arrangements, including furniture and utilities, can be move-in ready when the travel nurse arrives at an assignment. Apartments are always private, unless you choose to live with someone else during the assignment period. If you would prefer to find your own housing, we can provide you with a housing subsidy that will give you the ability to choose a living situation that is more appropriate for your needs.
